September Newsletter

Hello!
I didn’t do Edinburgh this year so “I” hope none of you turned up to Stand One at 11am every day in Edinburgh assuming I’d be there again in my usual slot and had to watch a man comedian doing a show about penises, testicles, Adams apples and DIY for an hour.
I’m back from my “dream” summer holiday now and so you can all look forward to receiving my intermittent and increasingly dull and unimaginative “monthly” “newsletters” again.
Unfortunately I picked up whooping cough from some coughing twat just before I went away and ended up choking and retching my way around various European cities. I can tell you the exact location of every bin in Prague.
I looked like an old dying lady who’d been taken on a last, final trip. Anyway, I still managed to enjoy the Kafka museum despite being put into a terrible mood by the incredibly annoying David Cerny sculpture outside the front of it of two urinating men.
Anyway, that’s quite enough information about my deteriorating health, here’s a quick reminder of some gigs that need some people at them.
Union Chapel 18th September FGM benefit
Sue Perkins, Athena Kugblenu, Jo Brand, Mark Thomas, Shazia Mirza, me, Stewart Lee, Harry Hill.
Unbelievably, given the line-up, there are still tickets to this.
I know I’ve already told you about this a number of times but the charity really is in trouble and really does need all the help it can get.
If you could come it would be amazing. Thank you very very much. TICKETS
Warms-ups
I’ve put in a block of low key warm up dates in small rooms across London between now and Christmas to work up new material for both a new live show and my new radio series.
They’ll be really loose and fun.
Please come or I won’t know what works and what doesn’t.
I have to go now because I’ve got 3 new kittens I have to stare at. October’s newsletter, which I’ll probably write in December, will be much more exciting I’m sure.
